Àban - Adventure Learning Community

Young and old alike, everyone feels better after spending time outdoors. We help get you out on new adventures right here in your own community.

When you book an activity with us, every penny raised goes to support our charitable work in Inverness. We work with schools, community groups and other charities to offer positive outdoor adventures for children & families in need.

Duke of Edinburghs Award Expedition Aviemore station

Outdoor Clothing & Equipment AppealOpen for one week only!

Our Duke of Edinburgh's Award and school programmes are rapidly expanding. Many of our participants don't have access to outdoor clothing & equipment. Have your own children grown up and left home, or perhaps that garage might be needing a clearout? We'd be so grateful if you could support our work by donating good quality used outdoor clothing & equipment. We will give your old kit many more years of use.

"Stay outside until it's time for tea!"

These are holidays like they used to be! Easter 2022 sold out, so please help us plan ahead for the summer. Well done to the 48 children who braved some really cold conditions. Goes to show that with a bit of warm clothing and a big wood to explore, even P1 children can stay outside for 6 hours non-stop and still be warm & happy.
