Volunteer Grant Writer sought
Help Fund Outdoor Adventures for Young People – and Have Fun Doing It! We're looking for a volunteer grant writer to help us secure funding so we can keep making a difference – and we promise a warm welcome and plenty of team spirit! We're a friendly, passionate team dedicated to helping young people build confidence and resilience through adventure.

Kessock Ferry Swim Academy
The Kessock Ferry Swim Academy is a weekly outdoor swim session for young people in and around Merkinch and South Kessock. The group receive tuition from an experienced outdoor swim coach who will develop a structured swim programme exploring local lochs and sea with the group over 12 weeks. Those who want to have the opportunity to enter the Kessock Ferry Swim Event.

The Kessock Ferry Swim is a tidal swim across the Kessock Narrows
Follow the old ferry route between South & North Kessock, with easy entry & exit from the old pier
An Invernessian tradition dating back to 1946
Non-competitive event supporting the local community in Merkinch & South Kessock

Àban Mountaineering Club
The Àban Mountaineering Club (ÀMC) is our weekly mountaineering club for South Kessock/Merkinch and surrounding Inverness teens. In the Spring and Summer months we aim to walk and climb outdoors, during the Winter sessions will take place at The Ledge climbing wall.
