Excitement & ContentmentFirst Àban residential camp

There’ll be lots more to say about the first Àban residential camp. As I write this I’m pretty tired and ready for my own family holiday, but want to briefly express the deep sense of both contentment and excitement.

Contentment as Kate and I met for a review this afternoon and were able to reflect on the week. Excitment as we start to look ahead and dream ofwhat else might be possible. Just look at the expressions on their faces as they head off ready for high adventure. In the end it wasn’t about the bike, but about the inexhaustible positive energy which was just zipping around everywhere in this amazingly committed young group.
