What's It All About?

The Àban Mountaineering Club (ÀMC) is our new weekly mountaineering club for South Kessock/Merkinch and surrounding Inverness teens. During block one our sessions will be at the Ledge climbing wall. When the weather improves, we will move to outdoor hillwalking and climbing. No experience is required. We welcome all abilities.

What Will You Learn?

lead by experienced outdoor leaders, you will learn basic climbing techniques, and basic navigation once we make our way outdoors in the warmer months.

What's the Age Range?

This club is aimed at teenagers aged 13-18.

How Much Does it Cost?

Each session costs only £1. As always, we welcome donations if you are able to do so.

Where and when do we Meet?

We meet Friday afternoons at the Ledge climbing wall until the end of March.

What do I need to Bring?

Please take your own snacks and plenty of water.

How do I get Involved?

If you do not have all or even any of this kit, please let us know and you can borrow kit from our Gear Hub.
