What's It All About?

The Àban Mountaineering Club (ÀMC) is our weekly mountaineering club for South Kessock/Merkinch and surrounding Inverness teens. During block two our sessions will be outdoor hillwalking on Sundays, as always finishing with an overnight expedition at the end of the block. No experience is required. We welcome all abilities.

What Will You Learn?

With our professional & experienced outdoor leaders, you will learn basic hillwalking and navigation skills. You'll also get to know other likeminded teenagers who attend the sessions together with you.

What's the Age Range?

This club is aimed at teenagers aged 13-18.

How Much Does it Cost?

Each session costs only £1. As always, we welcome donations if you are able to do so.

Where and when do we Meet?

We meet each Sunday at 10am at our base on Grant Street.

What do I need to Bring?

Please take your own lunch, snacks and plenty of water.

We've got plenty of space outdoor clothing at our base but if you can, please take your own;
