Who will be Leading the Course?
Nele is Aban’s Outdoor Programme Leader and is responsible for planning and running local outdoor adventure programmes for local children and teenagers. She holds several outdoor qualifications, such as Mountain Leader and L3 Forest School Teacher, and is in the process of becoming a Wilderness Therapeutic Practitioner.
She is very passionate about the outdoors and working with people to help them reconnect to the natural world. She holds over 10 years’ experience of working with a variety of age groups and outdoor settings.
Laurie is a trainee Wilderness Therapeutic Practitioner and apprentice Rites of Passage guide, integrating soft reflective practices that benefit wellbeing with hard skills, such as basic bush craft, foraging and wildlife tracking. She has experience working with adults and children, including those with multiple needs in the outdoors.
