As a child I loved hillwalking and camping with schoolfriends, scouts and as part of the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme (gold). As a Munro completist, I am passionate about the wellbeing and character-building benefits of engaging with nature and walking. My 3 children grew up in Inverness with the Highlands as their playground. As a leader I supported their own DoE participation.
Prior to retiring in 2022 I was a director for 20 years in FD/MD roles, supporting the growth of businesses whilst ensuring good governance. In my last 3 years I worked as FD for a charity.
